Pyar Sirf Ek Lafz Nahi

Pyar sirf ek lafz nahi

Ye woh ahsas hai,

Jo dil hi nahi rooh tak pahuchta hai.

Kisse-kahaniyan hamne aksar

Suni hai is ahsaas ke.

Kisi ne mehboob se ki,

kisi ne walidain se,

kisi ne watan se ki,

kisi ne insaniyat se

aur kisi ne sirf Khuda se ki.

Radha ne agar Shyam se ki,

To Meera ne bhi usi Ghanshyam se.

Heer, Ranjhe ki ulfat me aisa khoi,

Ki use duniya ki reet na dhikhai di.

Na Laila ko sehra ki dhoop,

Apne Mehboob se milne se rok payi.

Na hi Shiree aur Sohni ko

Ye zalim duniya raas aai.

Jise mil jaye yeh ahsas, to kismet

Aur na mile to qayamat.
